I need to reschedule/cancel my appointment.
On your confirmation email, there is a link to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please give your healthcare professional as much notice as possible. Please note that some of our healthcare professionals have penalties if you cancel or reschedule too close to your appointment.
I missed my appointment.
We are sorry to hear that. It’s OK, things happen. Unfortunately, our healthcare professional was ready and waiting for you so they still may charge you. Each person has their own penalties so we’ll need to check back with them. If it was something beyond your control, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see what we can do.
We had technical difficulties during my appointment.
We’ve been told perfection is unattainable, but we can’t help striving for it. We recommend ensuring that you are in a location with a strong signal to ensure the highest quality voice and video during your appointment (and we recommend the same to our healthcare professionals). If things went really wrong, please email us at email@example.com and give us as much detail as you can (like your appointment date, time, browser you were using and IP address if you have it) and we’ll talk to the IT fairies to get it sorted for next time.
My healthcare professional didn’t show up. What happens now?
We understand how frustrating this must be for you. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. You can rest assured that you will not be charged for this appointment, but we want to make sure you get the care that you need. Please feel free to book an appointment with another practitioner.

How do you select your healthcare professionals?
We actively reach out to the healthcare community to find high quality and compassionate practitioners committed to women’s health. Once someone makes an application to join Caia, we double and triple check their qualifications and (if we’re satisfied) take them through a stringent on boarding process to make sure you’re getting the best care possible.
Can I leave a review of my healthcare professional?
We’re so glad you had a great experience! We have this functionality on our to do list but right now it isn’t available. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make sure we pass it on.
Can I claim Caia appointments back through private health insurance?
It really depends on the type of appointment, your level of insurance and who your private health insurance provider is. We suggest reaching out to your private health insurer directly to confirm your eligibility and the process.
Does it cost to join Caia?
The best things in life are free and so is Caia. You don’t need to pay anything to get access to awesome healthcare advice, you just need to pay your healthcare professional like you would for any appointment.
Does Caia offer bulk billing appointments?
No, we don’t currently offer bulk billing appointments. As we grow we will definitely look at how we can make more healthcare options available.

Is my appointment confidential?
Absolutely! You have all the same rights as a regular appointment. It’s just taking place virtually, without the hassle of needing to be in a physical place.
